Anti-Spam Policy (ASP)

1. Scope

This Anti‑Spam Policy (“Policy”) applies to all GTSite customers and their end users who send e‑mail, SMS, push, or similar electronic messaging from infrastructure hosted on or routed through GTSite (“Messaging”).

2. Definition of Spam

Spam” is any Messaging sent to recipients without their verifiable and current permission, including:

  • Bulk or single e‑mails with deceptive subject lines or forged headers;
  • Marketing communications sent to purchased, scraped, or third‑party lists;
  • Messages lacking a functional opt‑out mechanism.

3. Required Practices

  1. Opt‑In. Collect explicit, provable consent (unchecked “I agree” check‑box, double opt‑in, or signed contract) before sending non‑transactional messages.
  2. Identification. Each message must display the sender’s legal business name, physical mailing address, and a valid reply‑to e‑mail.
  3. Unsubscribe. Provide a one‑click or prominent opt‑out link that is processed within 10 business days.
  4. Rate & Complaint Limits.
    Maintain abuse‑report (“this‑is‑spam”) rates below 0.1 % and bounce rates below 5 % per campaign. Higher rates trigger review.
  5. Authentication. Publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for each sending domain.

4. Prohibited Messaging

  • Pornographic, extremist, or illegal‑drug promotion;
  • Get‑rich‑quick schemes, pyramid or Ponzi offers;
  • Loan or credit repair offers without proper licensing;
  • Messages that violate CAN‑SPAM Act, Canada CASL, GDPR ePrivacy Directive, or applicable telecom regulations.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

  • GTSite uses automated abuse detection, feedback‑loop data, and RBL/blacklist feeds (Spamhaus, Proofpoint, etc.).
  • First violation: warning and 24‑hour remediation window.
  • Second violation or severe abuse: immediate suspension of outbound mail ports or entire instance.
  • Persistent abuse: termination under Section 9 of the Terms of Service.

6. Reporting Spam

Forward the full message headers to [email protected]. We respond within one business day and, if necessary, disable the
offending account.

7. Responsibility for Downstream Users

Resellers or SaaS platforms built on GTSite must enforce equivalent anti‑spam standards on their own customers and are liable for downstream violations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy with 30 days’ notice. Continuous use of Messaging services thereafter means acceptance.
